On November 13-14 2024, the Department of Educational Competencies of the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University, in collaboration with the Department of Social Policy of the Faculty of Philosophy, is organizing a two-day event titled "Challenges in Transgender Individuals' Healthcare and Family Life: Social and Medical Aspects".
During the event, world-renowned transgender advocates and lecturers Jessica Lynn and Debi Jackson will present perspectives on understanding gender, discuss key steps and practices for providing supportive medical services to transgender and non-binary patients, and deliver open lectures for interested students.
Locations: Medical Science Center (Žaliųjų Ežerų g. 2) and the Faculty of Philosophy at Vilnius University (Universiteto g. 9).
