Research
Our mission is to improve the understanding and treatment of complex neurological and psychiatric conditions through cutting-edge brain research.
We investigate the mechanisms and consequences of cognitive and motor function impairments, neuropsychiatric disorders, cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy, and sleep disturbances, as well as the effects of various treatment approaches for these conditions.
Using neuromodulation methods, including sound-based interventions, we aim to enhance brain resilience and improve the quality of life for various population groups.
Applying the principles of stereotactic, functional, robotic, and minimally invasive neurosurgery, we develop and implement personalized treatment strategies for patients suffering from "inoperable and incurable" nervous system diseases.
Methods and Infrastructure Used
EEG, ERP, fNIRS,TMS, BCI, functional neurosurgery, robotic neurosurgery
