With over 1,000 members, more than 300 published theses, and more than 35 scientific groups, the Student Scientific Research Network (SRN) continues to showcase its achievements. In 2025, the 77th Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine Student Research Network Conference will take place. We invite you to participate!
This is a unique opportunity for faculty students, academics, and administrative staff to engage in discussions, share experiences, listen to the most exciting presentations by students and lecturers, get involved in scientific research, and establish valuable connections.
During this conference, students will present research conducted in scientific groups in collaboration with Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine (VU MF) researchers, as well as findings from interesting clinical cases and various analyses. Presentations will be delivered by students from the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine—winners of the first places in SRN sections.
Plenary Conference Date & Time: May 16, 2025, 1 p.m.
Venue: Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, Medical Science Center, Conference Hall D1-16.1, Žaliųjų Ežerų g. 2, Vilnius.
SRN Section Presentations: April 28-May 9, 2025 (inclusive).
Presentation Section Guidelines:
- A section can be formed if it includes at least 8 prepared papers.
- If fewer than 8 papers are prepared in a group, several groups will be combined into a joint section.
- Please inform us about the formed sections by April 25, 2025, via email at .
Thesis Requirements:
- Final submission deadline: April 15, 2024.
- Submission method: Coordinators should send all group members’ theses in a single MS Word document via email to .
- Word limit: Up to 300 words.

- Author(s): (indicate name, surname, and year of study)
- Supervisor(s): (indicate position and/or academic title and/or scientific degree*, name, surname, and faculty department)
Note! The order of supervisor credentials should be as follows: First, the position or academic title (e.g., Prof., Assoc. Prof.), followed by the scientific degree (e.g., Habil. Dr., Dr.).
