From September 18-20, 2024, Vilnius will host the annual meeting of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN), dedicated to the research of rare pediatric oncological diseases. The conference is organized by the Lithuanian Society of Pediatric Oncohematology and Vilnius University.
SIOPEN brings together Europe's leading clinical and translational researchers specializing in rare pediatric cancers. While the SIOPEN community was historically quite exclusive, it is now attracting more specialists from various fields, including surgeons, radiotherapists, biologists, nuclear medicine specialists, radiologists, and others. Many of the specialists interested in these pathologies are researchers from Vilnius University.
