From April 22nd to the 26th of this year, Viktorija Kielė, a junior assistant, researcher, and PhD student at the Department of Nursing of the Health Sciences Institute of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, visited the Department of Nursing Science at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Turku in Finland. During the visit, she participated in student seminars discussing methodology in nursing research and engaged in discussions with doctoral students and other members of the Department of Nursing.

The exchange of knowledge and experiences between representatives of both Universities emphasized the importance of scientific research in nursing and helped Viktorija Kielė deepen her competencies in the field.

Additionally, during the visit, the agreement for the transfer of Lithuanian data for the project "ProCompNurse" was fully coordinated and signed. This agreement enables representatives of Vilnius University, including Viktorija Kielė and Prof. Natalja Istomina, to utilize Lithuanian "ProCompNurse" patient, nursing administrator, and final-year nursing student survey data for further research on professional nursing competencies.

Viktorija Kielė extends her thanks to the members of the Department of Nursing Science at the University of Turku's Faculty of Medicine and nursing doctoral students, particularly Assoc. Prof. Sanna Koskinen and Prof. Helena Leino-Kilpi, for their warm welcome and consultations on nursing research.
