The moment of lighting the Christmas tree / From the MF archive
On December 5th of this year, the foyer of the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University was adorned with a Christmas tree!
The faculty community, employees, and students gathered briefly to experience the joy of the most beautiful holiday season and the anticipation of miracles: to hear the dean's greeting and a cheerful narrative about the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree, to listen to Christmas carols performed by Prof. D. Jatužis, Prof. R. Šimkūnaitė-Rizgelienė, J. Andrikonytė, Assoc. Prof. A. Žalnora, A. Dosinaitė, Prof. E. Jakimavičienė, R. Morkūnienė, Assoc. Prof. R. Čepulienė, and Giedrė Rudzevičiūtė. Additionally, they had the chance to indulge in Christmas table treats, such as mandarins.
Traditionally, the Christmas tree was decorated by the Student Representation of the Faculty of Medicine.
